Just over ten years ago, Brian Buirge and Jason Richburg, two graduate students from Pittsburgh in the USA, got together over two cups of coffee and six cheap beers to help make basic design principles impossible to forget.
Under the pseudonym GFDA (Great Fucking Design Advice) their first print, “Classic Advice”, a stark, irreverent, and undeniably authentic list of motivating creative axioms, was a massive success in the states, generating millions of hits to their website and spawning a thriving fucking business empire. Since then they have gone from strength to strength with the release of many successful print designs including best sellers "Measure Twice, Cut Once" and "Be Persistent".
